Would change "Spring/Summer 2020" from bottom right to top left and change the letters to yellow. This would make it more hidden and not interfere with the image on the title. The color change would be essential because of the background of trees in the top left corner. Would add page number to left side of page Would add page number to right side of page Would add page number to left side of page I was unable to make the changes directly to the magazine due to the lack of technology at my house. I don't have the magazine on my personal laptop because it wasn't on a flash drive. Also, I don't have Microsoft Publisher, so I wouldn't be able to edit it and add these changes.

Throughout the entirety of this project, I used a large variety of technology. The first use of technology throughout the project was my camera. I personally chose to use 35 millimeter film cameras for my photo work, so I used the same for this project. The camera itself is a Olympus, which is a small point and shoot, auto focus camera. This makes it very easy to use because all you have to do is press the shutter to take a picture, but what makes it fun is that you cannot see the results. I used Kodak 400 film because this film is considered to be very versatile because of it being 400 ISO. This film is very good for night time as well as day time, which is what allowed me to get a variety of shots in different lighting. The next piece of technology used was the photo scanner and film developer which the workers did at the photo lab I sent the rolls of film too. Throughout this project, I did develop a bit of production skill to add on to those skills I have had previously. Many of these production skills, I have been using for around a year at this point because I am a photographer. Some of these skills I have from previous work is: working my camera, gaining models for the shoots, locations, as well as editing. These skills have come over time with doing photo shoots for other brands as well as artists, which is why I chose to make the magazine rather than a film. The area that did develop a lot throughout the project was the actual magazine work itself. It had always been a dream of mine to make a photo book or magazine, so this was an area I wasn't familiar with, but wanted to learn more about. In my audience engagement research I found that the best way to gain attraction to your product is through social media as well as those who have a following. Many of the other large magazine publications featuring a similar audiences use these techniques because this attracts the younger audiences. This day in age, everyone uses social media so if I started a page for the magazine on all social media platforms, then a much larger amount of the target audience will see it. The other aspect that helps a lot is featuring trending/popular people in the magazines in order to attract the audience following the celebrity. Essentially, featuring the celebrity on social media brings in the audience and you use the social media as a platform for engagement. The product I submitted used some conventions of my genre, which is men's fashion magazines. I used some of the magazines conventions on the layout of my pages. The use of conventions can be seen on every page of the magazine. On the cover page, I used these conventions by having a large/catchy title and having the subtitles go around the people in the image. On the second page I used the convention of having a small reference with description to the cover photo on this table of contents page. This sort of layout is used by many magazines not only in my specific genre, but can be found in most magazines in general. On the third and fourth pages, I used similar layouts to those found from many GQ magazines. There was a large title, with images on both the left and right side diagonal with one another.
